Basalt columns
Hexagonal basalt columns stacked like organ pipes, a striking rock formation for cliffs and volcanic regions.
Basalt columns are recognisable by their near-perfect hexagonal prisms, packed side by side in tall, ribbed walls that break at the top into flat steps. They form where cooling lava splits into regular shapes, so they suit volcanic coasts, gorges and mountain sides. Each model includes LOD0 to LOD3, collision matched to the columns, and a pivot at the base for quick placement. Use them as cliff faces, ruins or stone walkways. Seed changes vary column height, cracks and broken tops. Available in realistic and low-poly styles, exported as GLB, FBX or OBJ for Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot and more.
