Inspect the textures of a 3D model
Find out which textures a model uses, how large they are and how much video memory they take. Big textures are the usual reason models run slowly on phones.

How it works
- 01
Drop a model with textures.
- 02
Open Diagnostics: each texture shows a preview, the slots that use it, its resolution and video memory.
- 03
Shrink or compress the heavy ones with the GLB compressor.
Questions
How is video memory counted?+
Uncompressed textures take width × height × 4 bytes plus about a third more for mipmaps. KTX2 textures stay compressed on the GPU, so their real size is shown.
What is a slot?+
The material input a texture feeds: map is base color, normalMap is normals, then roughnessMap, metalnessMap, aoMap, emissiveMap and so on.
How do I make textures smaller?+
Lower the resolution or convert them to KTX2 in the GLB compressor.
