Root plate
Uprooted tree with a vertical root plate, a storm-felled prop for forest floors, riverbanks and clearings in games.
The root plate is the upturned base of a tree torn from the ground by wind or age. A dense mat of roots and packed soil stands on edge, with bark-covered trunk stubs and exposed earth, typical of temperate and boreal forests after a storm. Each model includes LOD0 to LOD3, a collision shape and a pivot at the base, so it sets into terrain without manual fixing. Every new seed gives a different root spread and soil shape, and the model is offered in realistic and low-poly styles for Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot.
