About SVG

Scalable Vector Graphics → 3D

SVG is a vector image. The viewer extrudes every filled shape into 3D — handy for logos, signs and 3D printing.

About USDZ

Universal Scene Description

USDZ is a zipped Universal Scene Description package used for AR on iPhone and iPad (AR Quick Look). The viewer also opens .usda, .usdc and .usd.

How it works

  1. 01

Drop the .svg file (with its textures or .bin/.mtl files, if any).

  2. 02

Check the model in the 3D preview; USDZ is already selected.

  3. 03

Click “Convert” and the .usdz file downloads.

Questions

Is the SVG to USDZ converter free?+

Yes, without limits, sign-up or watermark.

Is my SVG file uploaded?+

No. The SVG file is read and converted in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Why are textures missing after converting SVG?+

Textures stored as separate files must be selected together with the model. USDZ keeps them only if the format supports textures.
