Sweetgum
A procedural sweetgum tree with star-shaped leaves and spiky seed balls, ready to plant in temperate and wetland game scenes.
Sweetgum is recognisable by its five-lobed, star-shaped leaves, its spiky hanging seed balls and the corky ridges along its branches. Its crown starts narrow and becomes rounded, and the foliage colours from green to deep red and purple. The species grows in moist bottomlands and floodplain woods of the southeastern United States and Central America, so it suits temperate forest, swamp and park scenes. The model ships with LOD0–LOD3, collision and a pivot at the base. Wind moves the leaves; each new seed gives a new variation, in realistic and low-poly styles. It exports to GLB, FBX and OBJ and drops into Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender, three.js, Babylon.js, PlayCanvas and Bevy.
