USDZ is a zipped Universal Scene Description package used for AR on iPhone and iPad (AR Quick Look). The viewer also opens .usda, .usdc and .usd.

About STL

Why are textures missing after converting USDZ?+

Textures stored as separate files must be selected together with the model. STL keeps them only if the format supports textures.
