FoliMesh

Game-Ready Vegetation

Vegetation you can drop into a scene without cleanup: LODs, budgets, collision, pivots and textures are already done.

What game-ready means here

A model is game-ready when it costs nothing to integrate. Every FoliMesh asset is generated with that in mind:

  • LOD0–LOD3 fitted to triangle budgets you can see before export
  • Impostor for the far distance, two triangles per tree
  • Alpha-tested leaves with low overdraw
  • Collision and a pivot at the base of the trunk
  • Textures for bark and leaves, or vertex colour for low-poly

Measured, not guessed

The generator counts triangles per LOD and the overdraw of the crown, so you know what a forest of a thousand trees will cost before you place it.

Works in your engine

Take the Unity, Unreal Engine or Godot package, or a plain GLB, FBX or OBJ file for any other engine and Blender.

Frequently asked questions

How many triangles does a tree have?

It depends on the budget you choose. A typical realistic tree is 8–20k triangles at LOD0 and a few hundred at LOD3; the impostor is two triangles.

Do I need to set up LODs myself?

No. LOD0–LOD3 and the switch distances are included in the engine packages.

Is collision included?

Yes, collision is exported with every asset.
